There is full gas central heating, cable colour TV, video, DVD, FM radio, telephone, broadband internet connection, hairdryer, music system, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric double oven, gas hob and microwave.

Bed linen and towels are provided. Additional cleaning and laundry services can be provided if required at additional cost.
Parking is on-street beside the house. This is free for one car (additional cars cost £2 per day)

There is a secure bike shed and outside toilet. Bike hire is available in nearby Bishopthorpe Road.
We have been awarded three stars by the VisitBritain.
We do insist that there is no smoking in the house please, and no pets.

Due to central location many facilities such as cycle hire, play area and tennis are available in the vicinity. Sports clubs and gyms nearby. Children welcome from any age.

Environment Policy
We are progressively making Fairfax Corner as environmentally friendly as possible, so we have installed solar water heating (which has gas back-up). We will be installing secondary double glazing and we use eco-friendly cleaning materials wherever possible. We welcome other suggestions. To avoid electric drying, we have installed an overhead clothes airer, and there is a clothes line in the sunny yard. A laundry service is available if required.
